I registered as a Member of the Register of Sign Language Interpreters (MRSLI)
After achiving a degree in English Literature at Glamorgan University, I worked full time at Pravins Jewellers. From there I obtained employment as an Apprentice Interpreter with the BSL Futures project. I attended the Individual Interpreter Development Programme (IIDP) that was setup by the RNID and completed the course in March 2009.
Currently I am employed full time by The Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD) as an Interpreter for the Legal Services Department. I am also self-employed as a freelance Interpreter during the evenings and weekends. |
